PowerPoint deck generation, and Deep Research that fills thin sections with real evidence before writing.
Released 20 July 2026. This release adds slide decks to the formats the platform can produce, and makes Deep Research check each section of a report for evidence before it writes, filling the gaps rather than padding them.
PowerPoint generation
A deck used to be the one deliverable the platform could not produce: you got a document, a PDF, a page or a spreadsheet, and rebuilt the slides yourself. Ask for a deck now and you get a genuine PowerPoint file, with text you can retype, tables you can edit cell by cell, charts whose underlying data opens in PowerPoint, and speaker notes under each slide. The assistant chooses what each slide says and which of nine slide layouts carries it, while sizing, colour and positioning are fixed by the platform, so an overlong heading or a list that will not fit is resized or carried onto a follow-on slide instead of running off the page. Every deck is checked before it reaches you: it must reopen cleanly and validate against the published Office file standard, so one that would prompt PowerPoint to repair it never gets delivered.
Deeper Deep Research
Deep Research used to gather evidence once and then write every section in a single pass from that shared pool, so a section the outline left short on evidence tended to read thin, with little the writer could actually cite. It now examines each section before writing: the least-supported ones are taken first, a check decides whether the evidence bound to a section is enough to write it well, and a focused search runs for whatever is missing, binding what it finds to that section alone. The web is searched for a web or hybrid run and your own document libraries for a files or hybrid run, so a files-only run stays fully air-gapped throughout. The step is time-boxed and never changes the number or order of sections in your report.
